I've been riding a used 2007 xciting 500 I picked up over a year ago. I racked up more than 8000 additional miles with nothing more than occaisional oil changes and two new tires. (mileage over 13,000 so far) It feels like it runs better and better with each use. This scoot has a maximim fun factor that is beyond the scope of geared motorcycles. It handles exceptionally well, and the bright orange color combined with the upright riding position make it arguably safer in traffic. Kymco's motto is "better than best" , and they are company we'll be hearing alot more from. If you want a scooter this is The One. I only wish Kymco was bringing their 700cc scooter to the states. They definately live up to their motto.
