Sherwood Forest Center Parcs, seems very expensive, and indeed it is, both the inital cost and for any thing you want to do or buy, but it is worth it.
It is set within a peaceful forest setting where you often get very tame wild animals walking right up to your door.
The sub-tropical swimming paradise is not to be missed, and the other activities are enjoyable and well organised and managed.
The restaurants on site are not cheap, but the food is good and they are not really much more than you could play on the high street. The dining in service is overpriced compared to the quality however.
I stayed in an one-bed executive lodge which was spacious enough, and very stylishly appointed with everything needed to enjoy the stay.
Would definitely recommend.
