I joined Green Flag thinking it was a reputable company and after reading several good reviews I thought I was in good hands. How wrong was I?
I had the unfortunate event of not being able to start my car at my home address. I called Green Flag who said that someone would be with me within the hour. Indeed they were but it wasn't Green Flag. It was a contractor who arrived with very limited tools!
He couldn't get my car going and spent just 7 minutes looking at it before leaving. My cover supplies a courtesy car should this happen but customer services wouldn't supply one!!
The next day, my friend looked at my car - it was a 15amp fuse for the fuel pump which had blown. Something which you would expect Green Flag to diagnose!
I am currently in a big dispute with the company and would say to anyone - JOIN THE AA

i also had a problem when i broke down..the fan belt had snapped.
Green Flag sent a tow truck so obviously they were not looking at fixing it.
we also had a contractor and he just looked at the engine and said it was the tensioner and fan belt.
I called green flag i told them the make of car and also the fan belt had snapped..why couldnt they fix it?? Green Flag said it was not a road side fix..unbelieveable.
it cost me £130 to join green flag and further £211 to get towed home.
My car was taken to my local garage, he said it was just the fanbelt, this cost me £13.50, and he fixed in within 20 mins!!
We have called Green Flag and they just stayed sides with the garage saying they had done us a favour by towing us home!!! It was also aparantely up to us to ring around and find a garage and not them..someone at customer complaints told me to look in a Yellow Pages!!
I had broken down where am i going to find a yellowpages, he then went on to say i could have rang 118118!!!
Surely something as simple as a fan belt should be a road side repair and should be fixed..its disgusting.
I am also in a big dispute and getting nowhere!

Hmm was just going to take out a policy but decided to see reviews first,glad i did. decided to go somewhere else, they sound very poor,sorry for your problems but thanks for the reviews
