I can't tell you enough how this service is a life saver..

I suddenly found myself in financial difficulty when My wife suddenly, without warning, up and left leaving me to sort out all the debts mortgage, the lot.

Up to then we were doing fine with about average debt. In a few years we would have been debt free if we'd carried on as we were. However, on my own I had no hope of clearing the loans and credit cards.



As a police officer I had to declare all this to my work. I was investigated by professional standards and re-vetted. Thankfully I was found not to have ran up the debts negligently and I was supported.



Then the letters came tumbling in from all my creditors. The pressure was immense. Payplan were there for me, put my mind at rest and stood up for me.

A budget was put together and a Debt Management Plan formulated and actioned. All but one of my creditors played ball. MBNA(Virgin) continued to pursue me aggressively. We eventually agreed on a settlement of less than half of what I owed.

I continue to repay the rest of my creditors as quickly as i realistically can. There is now clear light at the end of the tunnel and I'm confident I'll be debt free by Christmas.

Sadly, not everyone has heard of PayPlan or one of the other free to user services available. As a Police officer I have had to visit many tragic scenes where people have found themselves in crippling debt and have only seen one way out, and that is to take their own lives. I've found it deeply shocking and sad, whilst investigating their death, to come across letters from financial institutions like the ones I was receiving only 18 months ago. I wish I could have met them earlier and introduced them to a debt management service such as PayPlan. Who knows if it would have made any difference.

Not everyone who finds themselves in unmanageable debt has been irresponsible or foolish. Circumstances change and people find themselves in a place they never imagined even in their worst nightmares.



I was quite serious when I began this review I described PayPlan's service as a life saver.
