Just had a Kinetico 2020c Water Softener installed by Hawker Softeners based in Tiptree, Essex - excellent service and very professional install.

Living in Sudbury where our water is on the extreme side of hard and needed a softener as I was getting concerned about the state of the pipes, taps and washing machine. The filter in the washing machine was full of hard deposits and clearly the machine was not going to last at the rate it was going.

Family of four so reasonably high water use so it is too early to tell how many salt blocks we are going to use. However after 1 hour the cold water water already feels better on the skin. Thoroughly recommend.
