We got a brand new smart car on a lease hire policy, and rung budget for a quote. They quoted and we was very impressed. We took their policy and have had no problems untill now............ our new smart car has arrived and is 5 days earlier then orginally planned (excited much!!!) so i rung budget to give them new car details (exactly the same as previous model. First of all we hung on for 35 minutes awaiting our call to be answered. When we finally got through we were told that our car does not exist! obviously we told them its exactly the same as what you insure us for now, they said they would have to do a engineers report! on a brand new 11 plate car, 48 hours went by we rung back (battled the 35 minutes awaiting to be answered) We finally got through, aparently our car still does not exist, so while i was on the phone to them i did a quote on their website and explained to them what to pick on the drop down lists! We finally got their the car did exist, GREAT i thought, but my mood soon changed when they toldme they could not insure me due to it being a brand new car! Hang on a minute i said the one we have now was brand new, plus i have 5 years no claims not including the year with them, and ive been driving 12 years!
Needless to say we have gone elsewhere and got a quotation with Admiral which is evan better the what we have with budget. NEVER NEVER USE BUDGET!!!!!
I WOULDNT EVAN RATE THEM 1 STAR BUT CAN NOT ON HERE!
