“There is no way of knowing how many of the profiles...”

There is no way of knowing how many of the profiles are paid up members or when a person was last using the site.

I sent several e mails most of which , well 3/4 in fact, were never opened. Statistically, al;beit this was a small sample, that means only aropund 1/4 of the profiles are actually 'live'.

A waste of time as well as money.

Avoid.

June 2011 - absolutely true, also the ratio of girls to men on there is astronomical so realistically the blokes have a lot more choice - girls avoid!!. How many guys are there on there who ski, snowboard and save the rain forest, come on now it's boring having to read it time and time again!! Oh and let's not forget triathlons the beauty of them all if you are 5' 8" and under that is. Please stop saying you are looking for a girl who doesn't take themselves too seriously, it's pathetic. Do yourselves a favour, do not bother with this site whether you pay to read the messages or just 'like' someone. it's a total waste of your time and money.

This is slightly too bias. While there is no way of knowing who has paid and who hasn't by simply modifying the search criteria to those members who has logged on during the past 24 hours provides a good indication as to who is 'current' and possibly interested in meeting others. Inevitably there will be those who 'sit on the fence' and adopt a cautious approach, but there are many who don't.
