Yamaha Cygnus X Review

Having owned the 2010 Cygnus X for a few months now (second owner) I can say its a great little bike and glad I got rid of the Peugoet I had. The bike I purchased without viewing it as from Yamaha direct and I was suppised how small it was compared to some of the scooters around (eg x-max) and have always found it a bit short and small for me. I'm 5' 10" and want to modify the seat to allow me to slide back a bit to the passenger area. Apart from that, it always starts first time, its so nippy in the London traffic and pulls away as quick as some big bikes. The fuel is so cheap but did expect 100mpg but its more like 80mpg. I can travel at 60 miles per hour and keeps the speed up even up a hill. Slight bit of juddering and quickly slowing down and going between traffic not sure why. May try anouther weigth of transmission variator roller. What else, great headlight, storage under seat. Bit bumpy and shakes around a bit at speed. All in all though great for the money.
