“I have been installing viesman vitoden 100 range for...”

I have been installing viesman vitoden 100 range for about 3 years. Lost count of how many I've installed. I use them because I fit them and forget about them. Customer service is good and they honour their 5 year warranty. All I can say is most problems are installer related, powerfushing, inadequate gas supplys and condense lines. Get a good installer who knows his job not some straight out of a 4 week plumbing coarse! You people go for the cheapest quote and expect the best!

Looks like you have been very lucky then...I had this boiler installed just over 3years ago within the 1st 3months it needed a new ignition switch September 09 it needed a new valve switch, and guess what July 11 I need another new valve switch they have as a good will gesture said they will send me another new valve switch but I will have to pay to have it installed...I would not recommend this boiler to anyone ..looks like it is going to need this switch every 18months what a load of garbage I fully expected a boiler to last more then 3years but looks like I was wrong. ..i was wondering how come you say 5years warranty ....I was told it is only 3years

2 expansion vessels, 2 PCB boards, 1 Faulty Heat exchanger, 1 Ignition, PRV and 2 call outs for a F4 = flap problem, another design fault, and thats only the one's I can remember.
You have been lucky. Nothing to do with 4 week plumbing course fitters. Mine was fitted by a Veissmann registered installer with 40 years experience, even he has had enough of this dross unit.
Nearly almost had all the bits replaced, and its still pile of garbage.
Now on the 7th year of this living nightmare, May 2012, and it has broken down again, Expansion vessel again. RUBBISH NEVER AGAIN !
My God you've been lucky with your experiences.
