I have been a customer of Invest Direct since 2008 when they transferred my account from their private client service. At the end of March 2011 I received notification that that they had made a mistake in their transfer. They have taken £10,000 of shares from my wife's account and requested I buy £10,000 of shares to return to them, 30 months after their error. Some of the shares have since been sold and tax paid. We are expected to put right their full loss as a result of their mistake. If you value your investments do not let these people look after your shares.
