Web hosting is below par, for an above average price. Customer support have little technical knowledge and just follow a script.
Billing policy is the main problem - they auto-renew EVERYTHING without even telling you. No advance warning, they invoice you on the day they charge you. Their claim is that you can view upcoming invoices in your account area, but this only show the next month. For most people they have a package that renews once a year, so don't visit this on a regular enough basis.
Closing your account is impossible, you have to telephone an 0845 number. I was refused to close my account once because I 'owed' them £20 for a service I wasn't even using. Apparently my account is now closed, but surprise surprise I'm getting emails warning that my credit card is about to expire and could I please enter a new one. No chance!
