Hi de Hi !!!! Would i go again? absolutley no way thats my honest opinion .

Having spent 7 nights on this tatty old ship I was glad to be home.

I booked this cruise some months ago and was very worried about the negative reviews but thought i would wait to see for myself. The cabin was small very old fittings and the bed linen was stained ..just grotty. 2 days in felt unwell sneezing coughing and shivering ( despite using hand sanitizer )the air con was always set very cold which was ok in the daytime but freezing at night maintanance staff were called and asked to turn it off as the thermostat was broken and could not be regulated by ourselves, this i hear was a common fault throughout the ship.

generally the ship is tatty and there seemed to be works going on inside the ship throughout our stay think pumping out water in a cabin. I felt the ship was damp and cold- most of the time noisey industrial fans were in use to dry out damp areas im sure thats why i got the shivers and still have 4 days after getting home.

Food areas were ok if a little samey not much choice and cold food on warm plastic plates etc felt very canteen like in the beachcomber... grab, eat and leave. We did try the oasis restaurant at a extra cost but still food was either overcooked or undercooked, therefore we decided to eat our main meals off the ship most days just for a change and some new flavours.

Bar and lounges get busy quite quickly and you are constantly being asked if you want another drink every 5 minutes or so even when youre clearly still drinking one.

pool area is ok but pool itself is very small for the amount of passengers and you are constantly looking for somewhere to sit especially on the day at sea its very crowded and noisey. Get there early for a sunbed.

The entertainment is ok to start with but you can see them losing enthusiasm as the days go on always looking at their watches for some reason, this made us feel quite uneasy and that they are only doing you a favour by entertaining you. not good!!! I do agree with some people the humour can get rude and is not really fit for kids eyes and ears i personally found it funny i seriously needed cheering up on this cruise but clearly some adults were not amused shaking of heads in disbelief.

Overall its really seen better days many years ago. Just awful needs complete refit throughout. i strongly advise you think about that and do your research...but if you love low budget holiday parks from the 70s you will feel right at home here. Yes i know you get what you pay for but still standards of cleanliness and quality should still apply Never again not even if they paid me!!!
