I took an ICS diploma in personnel management i found the course very educational. The course work was up to date i did check this with the CIPD. The tutor answered my question as quickly as i would have expected when i finished the course the tutor gave me some good advice. And i received marks of B-C-B-A and some interesting comments the diploma doesn't look much and is not accredited by anyone other than ICS that was a bit disappointing. But under the circumstances it was never my intention to go further with HR i took this course as nothing more than the understanding it gave me for this field of work as a management i found it all very useful i believe this diploma is nothing more than a GCSE. However i am sure that if i was to take this field further than it would be counted as it was tutor marked essay work i am very happy with ICS and the understanding it has given me in HR.
