Orchard Bank (HSBC) Credit Card Review

I received a pre-qualify form. I went online to process the app. A fee was required and the app. Said I was approved. I processed the payment online. The fee was taken out of my account. I checked the app. status online and it stated the card was still processing. I called the customer service dept., which was really rude. I was advised it was going to take an additional 10-14 bus days before they have status on my account. I advised that was unexceptable the funds were already taken out of my account for the processing fee. She then stated that the card was pending approval, I stated according to the app. it was approved that is why I submitted the processing fee and asked if it has not yet been approved why were the funds removed from my checking account. No one had an answer. I spoke to two agents and a sup and know when could explain why they approved me took funds out of my account and advised my app. was still pending. I was told the website was wrong and that they misinformed me. I said that was ok, however I do not approve of them taking funds out of my account if they are still not sure if they are going to approve the card.. That is not right. They then said they would not have status for another 20 days wtf. The card and process is unexceptable.
