Just back from 4 days at Craig Tara at Ayr. Hated every minute. Caravan was filthy, spent an hour cleaning when arrived (and this was a luxury plus caravan). Hot and cold on the taps were round the wrong way, wondered why there was no hot water! TV channels all mixed up and no remote control. Place full of undesirables who's kids thought it was funny to switch on the fire hoses and leave them running. Sticky floors where ever you went. Kids clubs were awful, you have to pay out for everything. Ten pin bowling cost £12 for the 4 of us and the pins were on strings and the alley sloped upwards! (our ball rolled back to us!) After we saw the caliber of the people returning from the pool, there was no way we were risking the water. I have suffered at the hands of Haven before at Haggerston Castle so what on earth made me book another with them I am not sure, but I will never ever return. A holiday park ideal for the residents of Chatsworth Estate, Channel 4's Shameless.
