Medala Mini Electric Breast Pump. I used this for my daughter and son from about 3 weeks into breastfeeding and undoubtably it was the main way I was able to continue to give breast milk to both my children for 9 and 11 months respectively. It is easy to assemble and fits easily into the steriliser, I had no trouble with the plastic cracking (I never washed in the dishwasher though). I had so much milk a few months in, I could easily fill the 5oz bottle that came with it, and bought some more 'narrow' neck bottles to screw to it instead. The cable isn't very long when using the mains, but an extension lead soon sorted that out. I never used it with the batteries. It is quite noisy and the sucking sensation is a little odd initially, but you get used to it. I have tried other makes, including handheld and have gone through 3 motors, (Mothercare always exchanged without an issue and without a receipt on one occasion) but always come back to this one. I have only given it 4*'s because the motor dies, apart from that I rate this product highly.
