awesome, plays everything i've chucked in its slot.

Bad Points
remote don't work
no stock in my area so gotta live with it for a bit
slight hiss on my surround set up but I'm comparing it to my other £350 Toshiba

General Comments
The Dansai 852 is a nice little DVD player. Looks a little cheap (that's cos it is).

Does exactly what it says on the box with what I would say is good at the price.

Don't expect to be blown away by the picture quality and sound but buy one anyway you'll love it.
