My girlfriend recently went into her unplanned overdraft by £92.94. This was due bills, council tax, rent etc (i.e., not credit card mania). Letters were being delivered to an old address, and even when we went into our local branch to ask for a statement the cashier failed to raise the somewhat important issue of being charged £10 daily, possibly not her fault as I don't know what infomation they have and don't have access to. However, you would expect a call or perhaps an e-mail to let you know you are going deeper into debt daily but Lloyds TSB did none of this, they just let the debt roll up, eventually to £200. Customer service also very poor as lines were constantly busy and what little help they offered hard to access.
