General Comments

I got this Limit 8072 DVD player as a replacement for an Accoustic Solutions 551 which was faulty. Once I'd got it home, it played for about thirty seconds before pixellating and then ceasing to play. Once I took my DVD out of the machine I noticed it had scratched the surface off the DVD which had essentially ruined it. Avoid like the plague!

    Sorry but you must have got a duff machine. I hope you got your money back. I've had this particular machine for a couple of weeks now and it works just fine; much better than a similar priced SONY that was purchased recently by a friend. The picture quality compares pretty well with some much more expensive machines that I have used.

    I have owned the limit 8072 for about 7 months. I have had problems with green blocks on certain disks but not nowing anything about dvd i put it down to scratched disks. I have recently bought some region one disks and every disk pixelates. I took it back to richer sounds,where they have told me it will be 8 weeks to repair it. They also made me pay for extended waranty so i could borrow a dvd player while mine is being fixed. The limit 8072 does not play like the cheep accoustic sounds dvd player i have now and richer sound aftersales is the worst i have ever experianced. 0 out of 10 for richer sounds and the limit 8072 .

    Lighthouse is right! I took back my LIMIT machine a month ago it started vibrating like a sodding washing machine and had further faults. I got a LG 4750 as a replacement and it is a far superior machine all round

    I advise anyone reading this to Avoid this LIMIT model at all costs - richer sounds were fine however and gave me a replacement no questions asked
