Good Points

Looks and sheer power for low price - 230 bhp!


Bad Points

Unreliable electrics, expensive to run and repair. Only 400 were ever registered in the UK, so not easy to come by.


General Comments

You haven't lived until you've got behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo 164 3.0l V6 Cloverleaf. Whether the 12v or the 24v version, the power is heartstopping. They also look fantastic. My 1995 'M' reg. would have cost £25,000 when it rolled off the forecourt, but at just over 100,000 miles on the clock (and still the most incredible looks, sound and performance), just £3,250.
