Virgin MBNA - Absolutely appauling. I have just made an official complaint and if that doesn't do any good I will be approaching the financial ombudsman and I would urge other customers to do the same. They can't keep getting away with this. Their customer service is non existent. Like other reviwers have reported, they entice you in with brillaint offers but then make it as difficult as possible for you to manage your account and then penalise you to the max when things go wrong with late payment charges and high rates of interest. No efforts are made to advise you of any problems with your account and your 0% offer is immediately and permanaently removed from your account without notification. Another word of warning, don't use their own online facility to make a payment as the time it takes for them to credit your account will probably result in you incurring yet another charge. Having been caught out with this so called easy service I subsequently used my own banks online facility and they managed to get it there the same day! I have had some credit cards over the years and this is by far the worst. Never have I experienced such bad service and if you already have a card my advice would be to destroy it immediately and close your account as soon as possible. If you haven't yet got a Virgin MBNA card yet then DONT GO THERE unless you are prepared to be robbed blind.
