I decided to purchase an extended warranty with accidental cover when I purchased a Panasonic 50" plasma TV. The TV fell off the stand and suffered accidental damage within a few weeks of purchase. Square Trade sent an engineer to inspect the TV but it was not economic to repair the damage and the Company promptly refunded the full cost, without argument. This is most unusual for an insurance company, in my experience.
