I decided to insure my car with Esure a couple of weeks ago after going on the usual car insurance compare websites. Their quote wasn't the cheapest but was in the top 10 and offered more cover for your money. I was reluctant to use Esure at first after reading some of the reviews on this review website but then most insurance companies on this website had poor ratings probably because people only tend to add reviews when something has gone wrong. I had a policy with Esure 2 years ago and although I didn't claim for an accident (which could be a totally different experience) I did claim for a new front windscreen after a chip caused a major crack. Esure replaced the windscreen with minimum fuss. I would have stayed with Esure but they bumped the price up when it came to renewing (as most insurance companies seem to do). I'm now back with them and just called them for some advice as I've just purchased a new car so vehicle details will change and I was concerned about admin charges. The UK call center answered after about 5 minutes and told me no admin charges, I'll just get charged extra if the vehicle is more expensive to insure (which can be done with a one off payment via the phone) or Esure will refund me the difference if my vehicle is cheaper to insure. That seemed fair enough to me and I was pleased with how pleasant and helpful they were.
