Having been to Disney world Florida, we used the Sun newspapers £9.50 Disneyland Paris offer to treat our 4 & 6 year olds. They enjoyed it but as adults, me & my wife were disappointed with Disneyland Paris experience
1) Its just doesn't feel like Disney - the staff are unfriendly, theres no atmosphere at the park
2) The food is shockingly expensive & poor quality. Although we took food & drink in (no one stopped us) - we spent the entire day in the park spending 22 euros on a popcorn & ice creams.
3) The only place they seem to stop you smoking is on the rides - This is not acceptable in a park supposedly aimed for kids. There should be smoking areas (as in Florida)
4) The organisation is terrible. If I was doing my job as they run this park i'd be sacked. Pluto came out to sign autographs, his "helper" simply lent against a wall 10 yards away and watched poor Pluto get mobbed. My two kids we are trying to bring up to queue & wait your turn - they were simply pushed aside as all rules went out of the window. On Big thunder mountain, the fastpass entrance was blocked with about 100 people queuing for there fastpass time at least 15 mins before. 3 staff members just stood there obviously wondering why no one was come on the ride.
It was good for a treat for the kids and we have done it on the cheap (but it shows it can be done) £9.50 ferry crossing & park tickets, 2 nights in a travelodge near Dover £9.00 per night. Total - £27.50 for 4 people + fuel + food.
Save up and go to Florida instead - you will the see the "real Disney experince
