“I ordered a Barcelona FC shirt for my husband from...”

I ordered a Barcelona FC shirt for my husband from Kitbag. I got a confirmation email saying that the item was in stock and that delivery should be up to 10 working days from shipping. I got a shipping confirmation email five days later and that I should not contact them before 17 working days. 33 days later I got in touch with them and they said that the period of 30 days has passed and there ws nothing they could do. None of the emails said anything about shipping. Apparently they mention this when placing the order, but not in the emails. Needless to say, I have far more important things than Barcelona shirts to deal with and, of course, I had no recollection of such a term a month later, since it was not stated in their correspondence. The result was I lost my money.

They make very clear not to bother them unless 17 days pass, but god forbids that they mention you lose your money if you don't contact them within the window of 5 days (this is what is left if you take weekends out) they give you.

I was not even offered an apology for the sneaky dealing.

Very unprofessional.

I am having the same problem. I am disabled and order a kit for my grandchild hey took the money out straight away it did not arrived so I emailed straight away no reply from them. I phoned and spoke to a customer service lady twice. She stated my parcel was due to be delivered by the postman and as I had not received it I would have to wait until the required 15 days which was 10th October 2011. I phoned again as nothing had come and I was then allowed to print off and get my carer to post the claim form. As we did not trust them we got a certificate of postage as proof and as luck would have it the post man took it staright away so it would get there a week ago. I heard nothing still over £48 out of pocket so I emailed again and again nothing. Today my nurse wrote as well and I was now told the parcel was left in a secure place!!! Where? we have no secure place, someone is in24 hours a day we had no ring of the bell bearing in mind we have a loud bell due to my illness and we are in all day and night. We had no card nothing the parcel was never brought here. However, we now have to fight again to get our money back for goods we still have not received it is disgusting. They have not even apologised the firm are awful. I am ill stressed and cannot sleep due to them. I cannot afford to be out of pocket but my nurse said we will take it up with CAB .
