I have had both Dyson and Sebo - This outperforms them by a mile. It really does get pet hairs off the carpets and has a good strong suck. It is heavy so no good if you are a bit weak. The bags last for ages - and our farmhouse gets some heavy duty dirt to tackle. It does lose a bit of suction when the bag is nearly full. I had a problem soon after purchase. One of the plastic wheel holders cracked off. Miele were great. They collected it and sent it back mended in a few days at no charge. I was so encouraged I have paid £30 for a 10 year guarantee. It has never had a blockage.
