Hotpoint FDW60 Review

We bought the Hotpoint FDW60 dishwasher in December 2005, so have had it for 5 years and 3 months. We now have our first fault which we are hoping can be fixed by an independent engineer. We contacted Hotpoint / Indesit who asked for GBP124.99 or we could pay GBP14.99 per month and have a 1 year warranty (£170 approx in total)! Needless to say we didn't take either option an extra few pounds and we could have a new one. We will see what the engineer says tomorrow.



Found this forum when trying to find how to fix the fault and now feel very lucky it has lasted so long! I would have recommended to a friend before today, but the price quoted to repair seems over the top.
