I bought Patio Magic and did half of my patio as instructed - 4 - 1 mix. It has made absolutley no difference at all and I cannot see any difference in the area cleaned to the area not cleaned. a complete waste of money. It certainly doesn;t do what it says in the packet !

I'm very surprised that it didn't work for you. I use a 1:6 mix for killing any algae that forms on my patio, and it works very well within a day or two. Of course you have to scrape out any thick moss, but once it's dead it comes out quite easily. But the remarkable thing about is that it also cleans the surface over a period of time (1-3 months depending on the weather). I use it twice a year - early spring and late autumn - on my driveway paviors, and they are immaculate; virtually as clean as using a pressure washer, but without any damage to the surface of the paviors which p/w's cause. Two things to remember: make sure you really soak the surface (don't use it on a warm sunny day; it evaporates too quickly) and BE PATIENT. You will be well rewarded with the results.
