Good Points

GREAT midrange with a "reach out and touch" quality, large soundstage, excellent detail (especially low level detail),excellent dispersion and DEEP but CLEAN bass.

Bad Points

Their minor weaknesses are that the imaging is only very good, not up to the best minimonitors, and the treble is slightly closed in at the VERY top of the band.

General Comments

This is an amazing speaker- especially for the price. It gives true deep bass down to 25 hertz and has one of the least colored midranges of any moving coil speaker on the market. These speakers are not typical "audiophile" speakers that do one or two things very well but have significant flaws in other areas;rather, they are good to very good in ALL areas with no significant weaknesses. Dynamics are excellent, and although they are slightly lacking in bass slam they have the impact in the low bass to give pipe organ music the room-shaking reproduction that it needs to sound realistic.I rate these speakers very highly and an excellent value as well.

Respect given for Duane Barker.'s review.
