I always try to write unbiased reviews when it comes to shopping catalogues but OMG what a sham!!!! I made an application to 24ace and when I filled in the details on the website, at the end there was no end page to advise you of the process. I left it and so a week later a catalogue arrives with an order form and on it advising me of £150 credit. "Great" I think, there are some good deals, I will make an order. I look on every bit of paper to find the account number and nothing there but a 'first order' number. I call the customer service line (by the way don't call the 0871 number at 10p a minute, call 01254 302244 instead. Its their actual number, just masked with a money making 0871 number) to find out my account number and I was greeted by a male who's only way to describe him was 'innit mate'. He asks me for some details, tells me he is putting me on hold, comes back and informs me my application was declined 'innit', rambles on something about data protection and hangs up. Declined????? but the order form tells me I have £150????? The fact I was declined is not the reason I'm writing. I was actually glad to be declined because that has got to be the biggest sham service from start to finish I have ever encountered, 'innit'.
