Good Points

This is an excellent player. It plays regular cds and mp3 cds. Plays loud (I used my own headphones though the ones it came with look nice but I didn't try them yet) and it has a remote. 2nd generation player, it displays track names.

Bad Points

The bad thing is that it doesn't show the ENTIRE track name, it seems to only display the dos filenames but that could also be the way I recorded the cd though I can see long filenames when I put the cd in a computer. Also, don't use variable bitrate (vbr) because it won't sound as good. And it doesn't go higher than 196bps or lower than 32bps and must be at 44mhz.

General Comments

I'm not sure who makes it, I heard names like Genica and the likes. All I know is that I got it from Easybuy2000 and it is a wonderful piece. I'm very happy with the ability to play mp3 cds while I walk and I can use it in my car with a car kit just like any portable cd player. It comes with an AC adapter and it can recharge NICCAD batteries(am I spelling that right?!) The site also offers a very affordable car kit. When I was looking for one of those car kit tapes in a store they tried to charge me like $20 for it. The site charges a mere $8.75 and it comes with the adapter to plug it into your car's cigarette lighter, something I couldn't have gotten for $20 in a store. I highly recommend this product and it's just too bad you can't get it in a store because I hated waiting for it to come in the mail. But other than that, it's GREAT!!!!
