I have used Avast for about 12 months, but the latest upgrade to version 6 has caused major problems. It is the cause of my pc freezing/failing to initialise and I have now had to deinstall and re-install three times. When running it is good, but the lack of control of the update downloads is an issue - why cant you schedule an update when the network is quiet and I'm not busy?



Although value for money (free) is good, the quality and lack of user control lets it down badly - I'm looking to change it now.
