I love Michael Connelly's writing style. I first read City of Bones and was introduced to Harry Bosch leading me to read every other novel.
The Lincoln Lawyer features a different main character, Mickey Haller. A quirky lawyer who works out of the back of his Lincoln car he gets pulled into a seemingly clean cut case with a high profile client. The story telling is taut and the pace is at times rocket fast. From my apprehension about a new main character not having the same pull as Bosch was soon dispersed after about 10 minutes reading the book. Perfect for escaping the daily commute.
