I bought my apple macbook pro to take on tour. As a dj i can run a lot more software on it, ableton live, logic pro 9 etc. without it stalling or crashing like my old macbook 13". I also like the bigger screen, it allows me to see more and have more windows up to play with whilst doing live mixes.



All in all, I think its a little overpriced (like most apple products) but it's a good bit of kit and really reliable.



The battery life is also really good as normal laptops tend to run out of juice after 3-4 hours, my macbook pro can go 8+ hours meaning that i only really have to charge it once a day on tour or once every two days if im using it at home for surfing.
