“Just did a HW57 review, this is the bigger brother 97...”

Just did a HW57 review, this is the bigger brother 97 model also in 177 for flatter trajectory and field target competition capabilities. Except fairly heavy.

Mine came quite close to the legal 12ft/lbs in the summer.

Miner-mods can be made, as for all springers to soften recoil effects. Ones zeroed , the 97 is up there with the best of field -target quality rifles and should win competitions.

Eg- Will hit 15mm metal target kills at 55yds even with windy conditions from bench-rest or supported sitting conditions. Standing shots to 45 yds should be pellet on pellet.

Suggest if a shooter is not hitting high accuracy to join a local field target club.
