Ecoseal ltd Review

26/1/2011 slaesman arrives, measures up we haggle,I eventually speak to owner over phone he moans but agrees to do job for £4,000 provided I sign there and then and pay a 20% deposit which I foolishly do. 27/1/2011 surveyor arrives accurately measures windows I pay £100. 1/2/2011 at 5-30pm ecoseal ring saying :I want another £800 to do your job (AFTER DEPOSIT CHEQUE WAS CASHED). This I immediately refuse and ask for my deposit back. the reply, if you want your money back take me to court. Phone goes dead.Visit CAB follow their advice, write a polite letter giving 14 days notice to return my cheque or court proceedings will start, sent recorded delivery.I Still await a reply. I am a pensioner, and feel that if I had been mugged in the street for £800 the police would take it as a very serious crime, well I feel like I have been mugged, and if I am not recompensed it will definitely go to court. I hope that ECOSEAL read this and I challenge them that if they think it's libelous to take me through the courts. Companies like this need stamping out.So PLEASE avoid ECOSEAL like the plague and if you know ANYONE thinking of buying double glazing warn them about this company. I tried to post without giving Ecoseal any stars but the site wont allow that, but please treat it as a zero rating. If it were possible I would have given a minus rating
