<br/>I am sorry to hear you have had a negative experience whilst using UniformDating.com. Unfortunately we as a site cannot check the personal backgrounds of each and every member to ensure they are single before joining the site. This would be an invasion of their privacy and almost impossible for us as a site to do.

<br/>People become members of UniformDating.com for a variety of reasons which we would hope they are open about from their profile right down to their communication with other members. We have members from all genders and sexual orientations who are just on the site to make friends, some that are on for some fun to see where it goes (but without the serious, long term commitment initially) and others who are looking to meet someone to settle down and perhaps have children with.

<br/>Throughout the site we advise our members to keep communications within the site until you know the other party well enough to take communications to messengers/mobile phones and face to face dating. Whilst being in an existing relationship isn't against the terms and conditions of our site; getting to know the person well within the site before taking communications outside the boundaries of it allows you to ensure you know the other party well and you can check that they want the same as you before making an emotional commitment to them. This minimises the risk of you getting hurt when the real motive of this member comes out.

<br/>Once again I apologise that you have come across a member who was married on the site, it may be that he was separated, awaiting a divorce or that he is just looking for fun alongside his existing relationship which is unfair to you. In that case you are free to use the block facility to stop him from contacting you in anyway around the site whilst you can get on with meeting members who want the same things as you.

<br/>We would urge you to not give up hope of finding someone suitable on the site. You run the same risk, regardless of how you date, of running into a married man whether that is by meeting him in a local restaurant, at a concert or when out at the shops. If you get to know the person really well before becoming emotionally involved with them you should minimise the risk of getting hurt again.
