I have tried many times to open a Post Office Internet account but the screen always goes blank after inserting all the required information and clicking ONCE ONLY on the final page (as they request). I telephoned them on 01179431006 (instead of their given O845 expensive number) which gives you the same department. I explained the position and they told me to print off an application form and post it to them. I found it impossible to obtain print off and have now abandoned my attempt to open an account with them. I hear that some new accounts will be appearing shortly giving an even better rate that the Post Office are offering so may be what has happened is for the best.
