My daughter is recovering from a major disabling condition. She now has to manage on 65.00 +DLA per week from the DWP. As a thank you for the support we are giving her (as parents do). She sent us what she thought would be a beautiful symbol of her love and appreciation. The one rose was limp and had collapsed completely by the next morning, The surrounding multi headed chrysanths had clearly been picked over for dying and damaged heads but the cut heads had been were numerous going by the stems still visible; an indicator of poor initial stock
The 5 stems of greenery are fine! I can't complain to my daughter, she will be mortified, that's what INTERFLORA count on,recipients not wanting the sender to know what an appalling service they provide. I have seen fresher flowers at funerals.
