This review is to answer all the questions your having if your reading this review. I bought this gun in 2011 and it took less than 12 rounds before it was shooting 1/2 in groups at 35 yards. I am shooting polymer tipped ammo. I also took the scope off it came with a replaced it with a 3x9x40 .22 cal rifle scope and it works great. The noise factor in this gun was not stated and trust me this bad boy is LOUD, almost like a .22 to be exact. It's easy to cock and I love shooting it, for the money you can't beat this weapon. I got mine from the Sportsmans guide and would consider another one in the future but would probably do a little more research to locate one a little more on the quiet side.
