Travel Republic - travelrepublic.co.uk Review

I tried to book a Hotel in Dublin with Travel Republic and got an email saying I should have confirmation wihin 12 hours. I hadnt heard so phoned them only to be told to give it another 24 hours as they were still waiting to hear from the Hotel. After 24 hours I had still heard nothing so phoned again to cancel as I needed to try to get another Hotel booked and was told it would have to go to the Admin Dept and they would phone me back. As I guessed, no phone call so I made another and was told that was it cancelled.Now I find on my visa statement that they have taken the £60 deposit & £1.50 charge!!!!! For what????? Customer Service is shocking, when I asked the girl when I would find out she shouted " I dont know!! " I have rated them 1 because there wasnt an option for zero. Wont be using them again. Used Booking.com last time with no problems. They advertise prices that dont exist. Do yourself a favour and stay well clear of this shower of useless *****!
