Creditexpert (experian) is a facility which thrives on making incredible profits from peoples worry about their credit file. They now charge £14.99p/m for the service (gone up from £5.99>6.99>7.99) and it is exactly the same as getting your report through the post for £2 - apart from it being online. They give you a three-digit number as a credit score- but this does not mean anything since all companies use a different criteria for credit scoring. Buy your report through the post for £2 (don't try the online report option- it rarely works and will encourage you to sign up for the full service); for your £2 you will get a printout posted from them and the same rights to write in and have corrections made. ITS YOUR DATA- DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF FOR HAVING IT CORRECTED.
