This really has to be the worst meal I have had in a decade. The starter was four mushrooms on a sad looking salad. The main course was supposed to be a fillet steak but God knows what poor beast had died in its name. It was clearly frozen and re-cooked and was ghastly. They even buggered up the chips.We were so shocked by the whole meal that we opted for a desert just to see if it could get any worse. It could. All the cheap 1970s tricks were there: tap water requests ignored and 100ml bottles brought and charged at £2; glasses of wine poured at table so half full glasses could be topped up and charged as a whole glass. The waitress was jolly good but all in all the experience was a disgrace.
