I had a Dyson before and it was ok, so I bought a replacement Dyson DC19 when it broke. I wish I hadn't bothered, it is a horrible machine to use.



- The attachments are all a lot flimsier than they used to be on older models.



- The hose doesn't fit into its storage slot for easy stowing under the stairs, so I am constantly wrestling with it.



- The wheels don't run freely, so it puts a lot of strain on your wrist as you drag it along with constant resistance. It also tips over a lot.



- Its design means that it gets stuck on every corner you try and drag it around.



- It's heavy and doesn't sit on the stairs, so you have to hoover with one hand and carry it with the other.



- It doesn't hoover carpets very effectively.



I wish I had bought a different vacuum cleaner altogether.
