After breaking down on a bend down a back road I was left waiting 3 1/2 hours with no contact when I was told someone would be with me within an hour. I was also told that I was priority on their list as I was on my own in a dangerous place with no power in the car. When the man eventually arrived he told me that it was probably just a broken sensor and towed me to a garage where I later found out that the cars computer was broken. I broke down 15 miles from my home at 6:00 pm and the car was not taken to the garage until 11:30 pm by which point I was very cold, hungry and very fed up, by the time I got home it was gone midnight, 6 hours after breaking down

That sounds similar to what happened to me this week - broke down, they took two and a hours to come out, with no contact from them. the guy was good when he came and sorted the problem but customer service didn't care and were off hand when i called the next day to ask why they kept me waiting so long and why they couldn't update me on times. I've been with AA since 1994 but i won't be renewing at the end of this year. No one has to accept bad customer service, my money is going elsewhere.
