RUBBISH QUALITY EXHAUST AND SERVICE FROM ATS EUROMASTER (Beaufort, Gwent UK)



Bought a new exhaust from ATS for my Toyota (the original lasted 12 years) - cost was £166. After 18 months the ehaust sounded like it was blowing - so took the car back to ATS for a check. They said nothing was wrong - and that the problem was the heat shield above the back box that was loose. I accepted it as true - until a few weeks later when the 'blowing' got worse -

pin holes could be clearly seen. Took the car back again and asked for a refund - unfortunately I had lost the receipt - but asked them to check their 'system' records - they explained that no records were kept of cash transactions - and so I couldn't prove when I had purchased the exhaust - wonder who their accountant is.



They took a manufacturers number off the exhaust and said they would call me with a solution - but of course there was no call. The exhaust is now unrepairable - a local garage discovered that not only was it rotten through - but the baffles were loose and rattling inside the box - and impossible to repair. This exhaust is truly rubbish quality - tissue paper thin - one wonders where the quality standards are. Next time I will go stainless steel - never ever again will I get ripped off by ATS's shockingly poor service and products.
