I was genuinely surprised to see all the bad reviews of this company. I have made quite a few orders to them in the past and have always received everything in perfect condition,on time.
It is true that they should have stock levels shown on site but a quick phone call is all it takes. Additionally, this allows the company the opportunity to advise on any product if necessary.
What worries me is that the trend is for a majority of people to bother to leave a review they have to be disgruntled in some way. No company is perfect and there will always be some orders that are damaged or delayed. This is no different than any other online marketplace. It is quite likely with amazon sellers that they will say in stock but then say out of later anyway. Surely these people are aware of the reality of the quality of service of the 'Royal Mail'? Wonderland are subject to the rough handling and lack of quality care from that organisation just as anyone else is.
I live in deepest Kent, about as far as you could get from their door and have never had an issue with them. Their site is the first port of call for childrens' treats and presents for us, and we rarely go on from there, finding exactly what we want on the first try.
I am aware it sounds like I have a vested interest. I assure you I don't. I do however curse the fates that this shop is not in my local area. I wonder if the same reviewers pouring invective on this wonderful little company are bothering to do the same for Amazon, guilty of all they are saying about Wonderland. Oh, and by the way, you'll find the same products cheaper at Wonderland quite often.
So, in summary, I don't want to suggest these reviewers are wrong in their opinions, I just wonder when they last took the time to write an online review in order to praise something.
Right, now I'm off to get my son some new whistler Nerf darts. From Wonderland, because they're cheaper there, and if something does go wrong, at least it's a real shop, not a virtual sinkhole that could disappear any second.

Well, if you have spent over 100 days trying to chase them for a refund for their picking error, I'm sure you will have second thoughts. I ordered my car on the 11th Nov for a Christmas present. Not only did they send me the wrong car, I never received the correct one that I cancelled my order in Jan after waiting 2 months. They admitted that it was their fault on sending the wrong item, and promised me a refund of my postage if I mailed it back to them. Now I have no car, a ruined Christmas, $17.44 out of pocket for return postage and over 3 months of distress in chasing a refund which they are completely ignoring. If you were in my shoes, would you think it appropriate for me to give them a good review? which aspect of my experience warrants good feedback?
