Been with SLIMMING WORLD for just over 6 months now and in that time have lost a much needed two stone. Weight loss has been progressive, sometimes speedy, sometimes far too slow for my liking, but generally it is going in the right direction, which is Down. Yeye. Some of my colleagues at the same club have lost far more than I have, but suffering from Graves Disease and lack of Vitamin D - did you know it increases weight gain? Betcha didn't, plus aching joints, however another story - I am really pleased with the weight loss achieved so far.
In one way very easy as you really can eat huge amounts of food - obviously that is good - the downside if any - is if I really want to go out on the town and drink copious amounts (oops) this will certainly decrease you weight loss for that week as does believe it or not, not eating enough. Generally it is very easy, as long as you are selective in your chosen restaurants you can esily eat out plus I think all inclusive holidays would be a doddle with the choice that one has and if you keep your 'slimming world hat on' then you can do all the picking and choosing you wish, remain healthy and above all, not increase the weight that many people do when they go on vacation.
In my opinion it is certainly worth doing, if I have had a weight gain, I just think, OK, keep to the tried and true and generally another weight loss the following week. I have tried other diets they really didn't work, I am now sat here thinking wow a year ago I was TWO whole stone heavier - yuk - and people are saying OH! you are so slim, I feel I have another 1 1/2 stone to go to get to a much healthier weight, but when you have dropeed two or three dress sizes, boy does that make you feel great and what an achievement. Go for it - really, what do you have to lose - your weight and what have you to gain? Get your self confidence back and go get 'em and good luck
