ok this baby is old like the 60's to the 80's daisy made this little guy from 1960 to 1984 its a 12 shot bb repeater, I had this one when I was a kid and where it went i dont know but I found one again and its kinda cool, it shoots with a sprin and double cocking action,its not very accurate and does not have a lot of power but thats ok, Its a cool gun just the same. It sold for like 20 or 30 dollars new when i had got mine in 1981 or 1982. It will shoot through cardboard no problem its good at about 20 feet at most, westerent style 6 shooter styling to it..the barrel is not in perfect line mounting its shifted to one side but if you aim right you can hit the bulls eye with it the loading system is really cool and you will know when your out of bbs in all its a neat gun and great peice of history as well.


Bad Points

The spring shooting mech is a bit flimsy, its strong but you can wear it out I did twice then I got another gun for a spare. I was 10 years old when I first got it and I got more bbs then I care to remember. I got hours and hours of enjoyment every day from this gun. Its hard to aim right so thats why its only good at 20 feet the fps is under 200 fps and being spring firing system its weak but works well.


General Comments

ok over the daisy daisy model 179 12 shot bb repeater is a a weak but decent little gun. Here very few bad points, not powerful but its not made for power or accuracy, just a fun little plinking shooter. If anyone has one kicking around and you want to part with it and its still in decent condidtion id like to buy it if the price is decent and you contact me at kmillard10@hotmail.com canadians only please for those that want to part with there old model 179 as im not to keen on importing from the us it gets expensive trying to bring weapons over to Canada.....now a shilo co2 pistol i would import to canada and im looking for a few of those to....
