General Comments

The Sony DSC-P72 is a very nice digital camera for people who just wanna have something they can trust on. It is a small and simple camera with many capabilities for just amateur photographers. It easily connects to your computer and you can do anything. Copy the pictures, delete them, copy something (even MP3 files or non-picture files) on your camera and move them to somewhere else & ... It has a built-in flash, 3x optical zoom, and so many other things.
It can use any AA batteries and it has NiMH AA Rechargable battery on it too. The battery must be emptied to be charged and the charge takes 6 hours long. That's a bad point of this camera, but you can charge it with rapid chargers which lasts about 2 hours.
If you like a camera with a stronger battery which can be charged anytime, you'd better buy DSC-P8 from Sony again! It is similar to P72, a little smaller and has a better battery.
And the memory stick was one of the best memory chips around. It has the capacity of 16MB up to 1GB(Memory stick pro). You can insert it in a second and save pictures on it.
And finally this camera can record MPEG movies (640x480) and it is very useful sometimes.
